Start Your Gangtok Sightseeing with Enchey monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Sikkim and one of the finest architecture in the world. Now move to visit Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology (Close on Sunday) the most prestigious research institute of its kind in the world. Apart from an attractive museum, it has over 200 Buddhist icons and other prized objects of art. Later visit the Do drul Chorten stupa.Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur and other religious objects. Next destination is Gangtok Ropeway, had a breathtaking experience by moving at the highest point of Gangtok City. Later Visit Ganesh Tok and The Tashi View Point offer great views of the imposing Himalayan mountains, specifically Mount Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu. Later Visit Bakthang Waterfall & Plant Conservatory Gangtok (Lovely collection of plants, especially Himalayan flowers including rare orchids, rhododendrons and foxgloves) Also, visit the Hanuman Tok which is one of the viewpoints.
