How to reach Yumesamdong/zero point
Yumesamdong, known as the Zero Point, is located in North Sikkim near the town of Lachen. To reach this place, you must follow these three steps:
First, reach Gangtok by using a local cab or taxi. Gangtok is well connected by road to nearby towns and cities.
From Gangtok, you should take a private cab or taxi to Lachen. The journey takes about 6–7 hours and passes through beautiful mountain roads and waterfalls.
From Lachen, you can go to Yumesamdong / Zero Point by a local taxi. Private vehicles are not allowed beyond a certain point. A special permit is required, which is usually arranged by registered tour operators.
Because of the high altitude, visitors are advised to travel slowly and return the same day.

Best time to visit Yumesamdong/zero point
If you want to know about the best time to visit Yumesamdong / Zero Point, my direct answer is April to June and September to November.
During these months, the weather is clear and perfect for sightseeing. You can enjoy snow views, blue skies, and fresh mountain air. Also, routes are open and clear for visitors.
Avoid visiting during the monsoon season (July and August), as heavy rain can cause landslides and road blocks.
The winter months from December to March are extremely cold. Roads may be closed due to heavy snowfall, and visiting during this time is not recommended.
