After arriving at Srinagar Airport, your driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or houseboat in Srinagar. The distance from Srinagar Airport to Dal Lake area hotels is around 12 to 15 km and takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. After check-in and some rest, begin your beautiful Kashmir journey with local sightseeing. First, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, starting with Nishat Bagh, also known as the “Garden of Joy.” This garden is located on the banks of Dal Lake and offers stunning mountain views. Continue to Shalimar Bagh, built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan. You can enjoy peaceful gardens, fountains, and colorful flowers here. Next, visit Chashme Shahi, a beautiful garden known for its natural spring water and scenic surroundings.
