The journey from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake is approximately 40 km and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours through winding mountain roads and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. The lake remains surrounded by snow-covered mountains during winter and reflects beautiful colors throughout the year. After spending time near the lake and enjoying yak rides and photography, continue your drive towards Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located around 18 km from Tsomgo Lake and nearly 40 minutes away by road. This famous temple is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier believed to protect the region even today. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain surroundings. If permits and weather conditions allow, you can also visit Nathula Pass, situated around 16 km from Baba Mandir and approximately 45 minutes away.
